Stewart Henderson is fantastic! My divorce from my abusive husband was terrible, and at first I wanted a female solicitor because I didn’t think I could trust a man. But Stewart quickly won me over with his kindness and empathy. Whenever I became emotional and wanted to launch the next world war, he would listen patiently and then talk sense into me. He has an incredible talent for turning my angry responses into professional emails that actually led to positive results. Stewart always ensured I was well informed, and he gently encouraged me to make the right decisions. Thanks to his understanding and expertise, a horrific chapter of my life became bearable. I came out of the divorce feeling victorious — and knowing that my ex suffered plenty. I am truly grateful for Stewart’s wisdom and support during such a difficult time.

Stewart helped my partner and I with witnessing some documents for an upcoming remortgage. I called in the morning to make the enquiry, and the job was done and dusted by lunchtime that day. Everyone I had contact with (both Stewart, and the front desk) was polite, professional and extremely knowledgeable. Stewart took the time to explain the documents and requirements in layman's terms, which we found invaluable and reassuring. I contacted Francis Lindsay as I needed some legal advice and wasn’t sure where to start. The fact they offer a free 45-minute consultation is incredible, being able to understand your options without worrying about the cost before you’ve even started takes such a weight off, and removes a barrier to taking the right action. I met with Stewart Henderson who immediately put me at ease. He listened to my issue and outlined what needed to be done and where he could help. He provided me with various options and some guidance and templates if I wanted to complete things myself. I instructed Stewart to handle my case and he was exceptional throughout. I first came across Frances Lindsay & Co during my child's third court proceedings. I started off with a solicitor, whom was recommended by a friend. However, from the beginning, I was not happy with their service. I searched on Google for family law solicitors. I had spoken to a few, they all spoke about money. I saw Frances Lindsay and Co's number and called them. I spoke to the receptionist and asked to speak to a family law solicitor. This was to be turning point in my life!! A solicitor called Stewart Henderson came on the phone and listened to my story. I had told him about my daughter and the case I was going through. My case was a very complicated one, he sat and listened to me for about 45 minutes asking a few questions along the way. This was the point I knew I wanted him to represent me as for the first time I felt like my voice was being heard. He represented me for the next two years while my case was still going on, in a highly professional and caring manner. Which made me believe there was going to be only one outcome in these proceedings. Everything was completed on time of the highest standard, even when the other side were not doing what had been asked of them. Mr Henderson endeavoured to keep our standards to the pinnacle of professionalism. The entire time doing his best to keep my costs at a minimum. He understood my situation and my income and did not pressure me financially. He allowed me to pay when it was suitable for me. I felt like Mr.Henderson really cared and we built a friendship over the past two years. I could go on and on giving praise to Mr Henderson, but to keep a long story short I won my case in the third proceeding of a 10 year long, complex custody battle. Which I know without Mr Hendersons help and support, I would not have been able to have been successful. So, I highly recommend Frances Lindsay & Co to anybody who Is not just looking for a solicitor, but for a compassionate, caring and highly professional person.
