I felt overall the service received was average. I felt I had to chase a lot of the time to get an update. I didn’t like the fact I couldn’t speak to Preeya without a booked appointment which was like 1 week wait. Took 2 years for my divorce to be finalised, which is a long time. Preeya could’ve been more proactive, and the charges for such service was too high.

Lovely solicitor, empathetic
I instructed KLR Solicitors (Preeya Rampersad) 2 and a 1/2 years ago for my divorce and finances. From the start, I had great service and Preeya really knew her stuff. I was very upset when I first went to her but Preeya was very understanding and empathetic and throughout the long proceedings, she was there whenever I needed to speak to her and had any worries. Her staff were always friendly and helpful, although they are not legally qualified, they always tried their best to help me.
I initially instructed her for just my divorce but soon used her services for my financial matter too. We came to agreement without having to go through the expected court hearings, so it was cheaper than I expected to pay out in the end.
I would recommend Preeya to anybody, whether male or female as her excellent knowledge and encouragement really helped me to make up my mind in what I wanted to do. I had a good outcome and would definitely highly recommend instructing Preeya and KLR to anybody who is going through such a miserable time.
