Unprofessional

Please think twice before using this firm. I enlisted their services to deal with my Dads probate matters when he sadly passed away. I found them to be unprofessional and disrespectful they caused me a lot of stress and upset. Official paperwork sent off had mistakes, facts and figures were recorded wrongly, there was a total disregard for my data protection, they doubled their fees, I believe I was overcharged for disbursements, despite asking numerous times I have never received an explanation or refund and I believe I was misled/lied to more than once.

It took them over 15 weeks to reply to my complaint. They admitted all the mistakes made and had to undertake additional work to correct them.

I am still waiting for the deeds of my house to be updated due to the fact that it took them 3 months to submit the forms to land registry.

I’d like to think they feel embarrassed and ashamed at their quality of service, it is a terrible way to treat a client, especially one that is going through such a dreadfully sad time.

I felt overall the service received was average. I felt I had to chase a lot of the time to get an update. I didn’t like the fact I couldn’t speak to Preeya without a booked appointment which was like 1 week wait. Took 2 years for my divorce to be finalised, which is a long time. Preeya could’ve been more proactive, and the charges for such service was too high.

Poor service and no empathy from Gregg, difficult to approach and always impossible to obtain a proper explanation about the case. He is working from home and despite spending a fortune I never seen him in person. Disappointing

Fast and personal conveyancing service

We have elected to use KLR solicitors for sell of our old and purchase of our new property.

We found Samanthi and Jessica (While Samanthi was on vacation) very responsive and professional. Samanthi made herself available for for our questions on the phone or in person.

Our purchase was for a probate which took a bit longer, but overall due to the efficiency of KLR we were able to complete the whole process within 4 months.

Price quoted was exactly the price we ended up paying and there was no surprises.

Stay away from this firm. I do not wish to bore you with the details of my case as it would take a few pages to explain, but suffice to say that I hired them as my conveyancing solicitors and because of them I lost my buyer. Due to their lack of professionalism, I had to chase them every week as they were not responding to the buyer's solicitor's emails; they failed to request certain reports and eventually, after 5.5 months of process, my buyer pulled the offer citing it was taking too long. This ended up costing me thousands of £ because I did need to move, and so I had to get a second mortgage for the property I was buying, instead of porting the one I had and when I eventually sold, I had to pay off the bank for ending the mortgage early. I also realized - and I have written proof - that they lied to me in a couple of occasions, for which I have reported them to the SRA and the Ombudsman. Before I reported them, I emailed them (a total of 3 times) asking for the process to submit a formal claim. Nearly 4 months later I had not heard back from them. Ridiculous, I can't recommend enough to use any of the other hundreds of firms available.
PS: pls see below in the reviews Samanthi and other employees have rated it 5 stars...!!! Only reason why they are so highly rated.

Due to their lack of professionalism, we had to chase them every week as they were not responding to the buyer's solicitor's emails, they failed to request certain reports and after almost 6 months of process, the buyer pulled the offer because of the delays caused by this firm. This ended up costing us thousands of pounds due to not being able to port my mortgage and paying penalty fees to the bank. We aIso have written proof that they lied to us in a couple of occasions, for which we have reported them to the SRA and the Ombudsman.
Before I reported them, I emailed them 3 times asking for the process to lodge a formal complaint, we have never heard back from them. Felt like they just took our money and didnt care what happened after that point.

We used them for our new house, service was slow but still acceptable. Now its being 5 months we have not received deed of our new house, we are trying to get hold of solicitor Samanthi Perera, but she is not bothered to get back on texts, emails, and calls. On calling on office landline too, she dint come online. We are waiting to hear from her for around 3 months now. We had some additional paperwork also for the property to be done for which they agreed to do but they are just holding us without any updates or atleast courtesy to return calls or texts. Can't believe someone can b so unprofessional. If you think you can't do, atleast be upfront and let people know instead of keeping them on wait. Everybody is busy in this world, but I think professional people have respect for their ustomers which is lacking in this firm. Stay away.
