Tobias Burrough was appointed Executor by our late Mother. After 7 years of poor communication, poor services, poor admin and failing to carry out their duties, we took them to the High Court and they were removed by High Court Order!!! Their fees for the last 6 years were zero, as ordered by the Judge. They are currently being investigated by the SRA and LSO. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!

Under no circumstances will I ever recommend Burroughs Solicitors to anybody after the way they chose to deal with me and my case. After an initial consultation, and a brief exchange of emails between myself and Toby Burroughs himself, where he confirmed he would represent me in court, he proceeded to completely ignore any further attempts I made to contact him. I had emailed multiple times over the last 3 weeks, repeatedly made phone calls and left messages with his colleagues, each time being told he was unavailable and that he would get back to me right away. This was proved to be completely untrue. I only got a response from him when I said I would need to start looking for legal assistance elsewhere, and he replied within the hour. Unfortunately he gave me the silent treatment yet again and after another week of trying and failing to get in touch, he failed to show his face at my court hearing today and I had to go in alone. The outcome of my hearing was not what I had hoped for and had I been represented by someone who actually cared I may have had a different result. To say I feel angry and let down is an understatement.

Toby was appointed to act for me and I am so glad he was. He listened, understood the complexity of the situation, gave excellent advice and was kind and caring. Toby is a criminal lawyer and sometime people like me, who never thought they would need a criminal lawyer can find themselves in difficult circumstances and need help. Toby was excellent, I hope I never need his services again but I do recommend him highly.

Dealt with Toby and cant thank him enough for all his commitment to making our move a successful one. was fully updated on every change and felt that we were receiving a personal touch each and every time. It was a smooth process and was made aware of and given advice on things that I wouldn't of even challenged. would highly recommend this company. and last but not least his secretary Susan was always available when Toby was out of the office
