I have worked in the legal profession for 36 years and since 1992 specialised predominantly in residential conveyancing, dealing with all forms of home ownership, including: sales, purchases, leases, shared ownership and re-mortgages. During this time I have built up great working relationships with other local solicitors and estate agents all of which assist the smooth running of a conveyancing transaction – it’s about great teamwork. My aim is to provide my clients with the professional and practical support to see their transaction through to satisfactory completion and be there for them every step of the way.

House Sale

We have used Clarke & Son for the sale of our previous and new home. We therefore decided to use them for the sale of my late parents home. Marie, Sue and the team did not disappoint and made the sale proceed very smoothly from start to finish. They were extremely professional throughout and kept us fully informed during the sale. Marie and Sue were fantastic throughout the process. Always reachable and fast at responding. Even when on holiday work was continued through a temporary replacement.

Excellent service for first time buyers.

We worked with Marie for the conveyancing for our house purchase. As first time buyers we had quite a lot of questions and Marie was always quick to respond and very thorough. Everything went off without a hitch and we would use Clarke and Sons for future purchases/legal needs.

Marie and her team recently provided conveyancing for the sale of our first house and the purchase of the second and my wife and I could not be happier.

From Initial conversations right the way through to finishing up the last bits and pieces related to completion, Marie, Sue and co. have been absolutely fantastic. We were impressed with the attention to detail, sage advice and overall competence and care that was given to our case from start to finish.

I cannot recommend Marie & Clarke & Son highly enough. Their efforts significantly reduced the stress involved with the move and I will happily rely on them for all things legal in the future!

My husband and I were selling and buying a house in Basingstoke. We decided to choose Clarke and Son as our solicitors and we were so pleased that we did.

They were fantastic throughout the whole process, efficient with our paperwork and patient with our many questions (and other solicitors that took some time to reply). It made the buying and selling process very simple and Marie kept our chain moving when everything else seemed to stand still.

We would definitely recommend Clarke and Son to anyone and would like to say thank you to the whole team.

Clarke & Son are excellent solicitors, I have just used them for my house purchase. I dealt with Marie Pym, who has been very speedy in responses, chasing the seller's solicitors and had a keen eye to detail (caught some things out I never saw!). I originally used another solicitor in basingstoke, had a horrible experience and so was quite nervous when I chose Clarke & Son. However, the experience has been so smooth and so perfect from end to end! I highly recommend.
