I approached BS&I during an employment law issue I was embroiled in. All the staff I encountered were really approachable and friendly. Julian Cole dealt with my issue with great professionalism and a warm sense of humour. He is a great listener. If I have any further issues I will return to BS&I!

I had a deeply concerning experience with Barker Son & Isherwood LLP regarding the handling of my client account and settlement funds. Throughout my matter, interim damages meant to support me during litigation were used to pay for disbursements without my clear, upfront consent or notification. When I raised questions about how my money was being managed, I was met with confusing and inconsistent explanations. Furthermore, an internal review by the firm and the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA Ref: RGC-000196844) confirmed that they were unable to account for an unexplained balance discrepancy on my ledger, even though they claimed I suffered no ongoing financial loss. If you are a client looking for transparency, clear accounting of your own funds, and professional communication, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere. Transparency and trust are non-negotiable when dealing with client money, and this firm fell well short of that standard. In all honestly go else where.
