I have never had to use solicitors before and for my first time it was with my first house purchase. The steps before leading up to the stage of working with a solicitor was stressful. However once I used the services of Barker Son & Isherwood LLP, the level stress went away. Samantha, Dawn, Jade and account team took the time to explain everything in detail to me, possibly more than once in the same clear, understanding and calm manner. Working with them was so easy and I worried about nothing at all. All steps were efficient and faster than I expected. There was always someone I could ask a question to and responses were also timely. I would use this team again and highly recommend them to others. At no point during the conveyancing process were we made aware of the compliance requirements relating to septic tanks. As a result, we have now been required to replace the septic tank at significant personal expense amounting to £9,789.32. In short, no I do not recommend BSandI. We will be seeking further legal advice regarding potential negligence on the part of this conveyancing solicitor.
