Richard was born and educated in Neath. Following successful completion of his Law Degree at Swansea University, Richard moved to Bristol to complete his postgraduate studies at the University of the West of England. After achieving his postgraduate Diploma, Richard accepted a Training Contract at BWL and subsequently the position of Associate Solicitor following his qualification as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales in Autumn 2008. Becoming a Partner in 2014 Richard holds a senior position in the Litigation Team, specialising in complex private law disputes ranging from breaches of contract to debt recovery, landlord and tenant matters and neighbour disputes. Richard is also a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and deals with a number of high value personal injury claims. Away from BWL Richard is actively involved in a number of local projects. Richard enjoys a number of sporting interests as well as charitable fundraising and spending time with his family.
