We have a particularly unpleasant neighbour. 17 years ago after 5 years or more of legal correspondence we attended a mediation hearing over a boundary issue, after which all parties signed an agreement and a determined boundary was submitted successfully to Land Registry. My neighbour never reconciled himself to this, accusing all parties of corruption, and refused to abide by the agreement to such an extent that he eventually built a structure across the determined boundary. We felt forced to go to law and were recommended to Mrs. Bhavani Hogarty at Pardoes in Yeovil by the surveyor who did work for us in 2009. Ultimately we attended a Summary Judgment hearing achieving success which was entirely due to the hard work put in by my excellent lawyer and her chosen barrister Mr. Edward Peters KC.

What should have been an easy case on a dispute over land ownership on a parking bay and access entrance to our property, turned into a nightmare that lasted for years and took many twists and turns. Bhavani, Sasha and the team were always there for us. We received good honest professional advice, and, with any choice we had to make we were always given all the information we needed and always knew Bhavani and the team were there to explain anything we didn't understand. Bhavani guided us but never pushed us into anything. before each step we took, we understood the implications and likely costs and it was our decision whether to proceed or not. I have no idea how we could have coped mentally without knowing we had a very strong team on our side. Bhavani, Sasha and the team also behaved very professionally with the other party in the dispute, above and beyond what should be expected of them. Using a solicitor is never cheap, especially the good ones. However, the cost is for a reason - experience and knowledge is not gained overnight, listen to their advice and take on board what you are being told, even when it might not be what you wanted to hear. I cannot recommend Bhavani and all her wonderful support team enough. I hope we never have to go through anything like this again but if we do then Bhavani will absolutely be my first point of call

We used the Yeovil branch of pardoes for an extremely complex litigation matter. Bhavani Hogerty was our solicitor from the firm. She remained extremely considerate, kind and professional throughout our case and she is highly knowledgeable in this area of law.
