She has also acted for parents in a range of matters concerning the care of their children, including those involving allegations of risk of harm. As a member of Resolution, the national body for family lawyers and other professionals, Charlotte is mindful of resolving disputes in a conciliatory manner. She endeavours to ensure her clients are aware of all the resolution options available to them as well as considering what method is best suited to their circumstances. A long and winding road
My relationship with FLP began shortly before the first lockdown, only ending more than three years later after a protracted divorce process drawn, out further by court backlogs and pandemic-related delays. FLP were a delight to work with: thoroughly professional and courteous at all times. I was particularly impressed by their willingness to carefully explain the intricacies of process that can at times be complex and stressful. I cannot recommend them highly enough - lovely people to work with.

Wise Counsel
Charlotte provided wise counsel in challenging circumstances to protect the interests of her client. Advice was both measured and balanced thereby gaining a favourable outcome without recourse to the costs of court. Detailed explanations were given to proposed courses of action. Importantly, Charlotte offered constructive review of client proposals before their submission and any adjustment made to such proposals was arrived at by shared dialogue. She was sensitive to the needs of her client breaking more complex aspects of the matter into clearly, understood components. Outcome through negotiation was a central tenet of the process. Five Star Service
Kate and Charlotte were friendly and approachable from day one. Initially I had wildly unrealistic expectations of the settlement I might achieve. Their solid legal pragmatism brought me gently down to earth and kept my feet on the ground throughout the ensuing months whilst always ensuring that I knew they were in my corner. They guided me through all the hoops with kindness and sensitivity and were supportive and endlessly patient during the most stressful periods. At the end of it all, their skilful negotiations secured an agreement better than anyone would have predicted and for which I am enormously grateful. An enormous comfort
