Total incompetence/unprofessional

You don't put a letter through someone's door saying you are the solicitor that will take charge of a case along with someone else's case/charges and then when contacted to discuss case, you tell the person you no longer have capacity to take them on. Not even sure how you got the address or contact information when you hadn't represented in the first place?! You don't deserve any star rating but it wouldn't let me complete the feedback without the rating.

Thank you for your review. There are occasions when we are only able to help with one particular aspect of a client’s case but not the case as a whole. In your matter, I understand that we were only able to help you in the initial stages but not as the case then progressed. The correspondence we sent you set out the details of the solicitor who had overall conduct of the matter. This is considered good practice and is a requirement of our Lexcel accreditation. It may be that I have misunderstood, but your review suggests that we sent you details of another person’s case. I have checked and thankfully that is not the case. I wish you the best with the rest of your case. Julian Overton, Managing Partner
