I was unfortunate enough to be in a divorce proceeding for the past 2 years before Gemma came recommended. My previous lawyer (from a different firm altogether) kept postponing court dates and as a result, each time we came to an agreement, my ex felt there was still more room to negotiate afterwards. In short, the end was never in sight. After 2 years I knew I had to change lawyers and Gemma was introduced. I spoke to Gemma just before Christmas and she was immediately hands on. She was always available, organized and clear in her advise; her advise are written & detailed, so one can go over it as many times to fully grasp what is at hand ( handy for someone like me whom have never been divorced before). Gemma also made sure my Barrister & Justin (Senior Partner) were also on board. This was an enormous change from what I had experienced before. I had a team. Gemma is firm and meticulous. Non disclosure was at the heart of my negotiations and Gemma and her forensic accountant made a compelling case. She is sensitive towards the cultural aspects and differences (and may I say, aware of my ex's shortcomings) when negotiating. Thus within 10 months she reached an agreement. Another point I would like to add is that this firm (and Gemma) is truly operating with the intention to reach a conclusion as fast as possible without losing sight to what matters to the client. Throughout the proceedings they have acted as a 'force to be reckoned with' and simultaneously kept the proceedings with dignity and the high standards one would expect from one's lawyers. This firm went through great length to protect & secure my interest. Gemma has fought hard to secure a fairer outcome. I would highly recommend them.
