Sale of Grade 2 listed property
We have recently completed on the sale of a beach front grade 2 listed property on the Isle of Wight that has been in the family for nearly 70 years. In the current market it will come as no surprise to many that this exercise took just over 2.5 years from start to finish. That the successful purchaser took 8 months to complete from the accepted offer, not helped that he was based overseas, made the whole experience even more gruelling. Peter always made himself available, often outside office hours, and responded to queries from the purchaser by return even though it then often took weeks for a response back the other way. Peter’s experience, level headed approach and stoic resilience during what was a very stressful time for me and my family was both professional and supportive and very much appreciated. I am the third generation of my family to use Paris Smith and I personally have used Peter for a number of property related transactions over the years which I think tells everything about how I value his services.
