We used Hannah Solicitors for a remortgage on our property. We started our remortgage 5-6 months in advance to prevent issues, yet Hannah Solicitors still managed to make it difficult. I was regularly checking in because emails were somehow getting missed by the person dealing with our case, and there seemed to be no sense of urgency. Less than a month until our fixed term was due to expire things still weren't really sorted. We were told less than 2 working days before we wanted to be completed (fixed term ending on Monday, this was Thursday) that they wanted us to contact a different solicitor firm to get them to certify our marriage certificate - What is the point of hiring a Solicitors if they want to palm you off to other firms? At my own cost of course. Refused to let me send it to them directly with 24hr postage. The fact they would not sort this out themselves, and the fact they left us so little time to sort this out, shows the true incompetence and lack of care from this company. Would not use again, or recommend to anyone.

I have used them for convayencing my first house. They gave me someone I was not confident in their experience, and they would talk down to me when I asked any questions - which I would have a lot being a first time buyer. They also forgot I was cash buyer, and also misspelt my name several times and even referred to me by different name in their most recent email. They did not reply promptly to emails, several times I have had to ring them up to get any response - I feel I was not taken seriously at any point. I pulled out of the sale in the end, they gave me an abortive bill which was larger than expected - I was told to refer to the "additional fees" list (which could be seen as "hidden fees" to deceive you out of more money). Don't use this company for convayencing, I am not alone in this view.

As a single woman I felt safe in the confident, knowledgeable and caring hands of Sally Juland. Leading me through that scary journey of buying my first house on my own. Keeping me informed at every step and dealing with problems without undue stress to me. She gave me confidence that, with her many years of experience and tenacity to resolve issues, with me as her first priority, we would complete. I love my new home. Our conveyancer was Sally Juland. Where do I start. I can honestly say that since our transaction completed in March, I have sincerely missed her. Sally will stop at nothing to ensure her clients are cared for and duly informed about the property they wish to purchase. Sally was so patient with our buyers who indirectly caused many delays. There were points where my husband and I thought it would never happen and we were getting over the fact we could lose our forever home. Sally kept us going, kept us positive and remained professional throughout the journey. We never had to worry about the work she was completing for us. If we needed to know something, Sally would tell us. If we hadn’t heard from her, we trusted that this was because we didn’t need to! This allowed us to focus on the various other areas of buying a home and selling our existing property. I’ve worked in the Mortgage advice industry for 9 years and I’ve never come across a conveyancer who communicates as effectively and as efficiently as Sally. I had no reservations about referring her to my in laws for their property sale - which Sally managed to wrap up before my own transaction completed. My family are in awe of her. Sally works incredibly hard and I sincerely hope that Hannah Solicitors can recognise and reward her for the astounding difference that she makes in the conveyancing sector. As mentioned, I will genuinely miss her going forwards and will never forget that she was such a huge part of our lives for 5/6 months. Thank you Sally for everything you did for us. Sally was recommended to us by a family member who was already using her services for conveyancing. Firstly, Sally was the only one of our quotes to ask sensible questions about the sale of our house, she was friendly, and interested - unlike the others we asked for quotes from who only bombarded me with emails, and showed no interest in our actual needs. Secondly, the speed at which everything was set up was astonishing, along with the wonderful app which is a comfort to know what stage of progess one is at. However, the most amazing thing was the virtually immediate response by Sally to questions, calls, emails - unlike any other experience we have had with conveyancers. Her friendly, reassuring manner made it an utter pleasure to deal with her, and I would recommend her to anyone buying or selling a home!
