We had an excellent experience with our solicitor, who prepared wills for both my wife and me. As we are domiciled in the US but have property and assets in the UK, we needed advice on the best way to structure our wills to cover our UK estate. She was knowledgeable, personable and a pleasure to deal with, explaining everything clearly and providing practical advice. She was also extremely efficient, preparing our wills within just a few days. We were very pleased with the whole process and would have no hesitation in recommending her.

I cannot recommend Vaishali highly enough. From start to finish, she provided an exceptional level of service during what became a considerably more complicated house purchase than we had initially anticipated. From the outset, communication was excellent. Emails were always answered promptly, the advice we received was clear and easy to understand, and whenever I needed to speak to her, my calls were returned quickly. I never felt that I was chasing for information or wondering what was happening. Most importantly, I had complete confidence in her advice throughout the process. It was clear from our conversations that she had a great deal of experience and a thorough understanding of the conveyancing process. She was able to explain things clearly without unnecessarily complicating them, and I always felt that our purchase was in very safe hands. She was consistently professional, approachable and polite, and I genuinely looked forward to dealing with her. Unfortunately, after a couple of months, the chain began to experience significant problems at the bottom end. The solicitor, estate agent and buyer there were frequently slow to respond, causing considerable delays and frustration for everyone further up the chain. In addition, inaccurate timescales for completion were provided, making the situation even more difficult to manage. Throughout all of this, our solicitor remained absolutely superb. She continued to deal with matters professionally, kept us informed and did everything she could to move things forward. Having someone so competent and dependable acting on our behalf made a huge difference during what could otherwise have been a very stressful experience. The final bill was exactly as expected, with no unpleasant surprises or unexpected additional charges, which was also very much appreciated. Even after we had completed and moved into the property, she went above and beyond. We discovered that a door lock was broken and that this had not been declared to us when we purchased the house. This required further work and correspondence on her part, yet she dealt with the matter for us without making any additional charge. That was an unexpected but particularly welcome example of how committed she was to providing an excellent service. Overall, I genuinely could not have been happier with the service we received. Buying a house is a major undertaking, and having a solicitor you can completely trust makes an enormous difference. I always felt that we were in experienced, capable hands and that our interests were being looked after.

We had a very positive experience working with Shilpav Patel on our purchase. He was professional, thorough and very patient throughout what turned out to be quite a detailed transaction. As first-time buyers, there were a number of points we wanted to understand properly, and Shilpav took care to guide us through the process and make sure matters were dealt with correctly. He was diligent in raising the right queries, clear in his advice, and always focused on protecting our position. It was genuinely a pleasure working with him, and we learned a lot through the process as well. We really appreciated his support and would happily recommend him. If you want, I can make it a bit warmer, shorter, or more formal.

I can’t thank Sophie enough for all the hard work, both on and off the clock, she put in for me and my partner. From the very start she went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Nothing but pure professionalism throughout, and whenever I felt worried she reassured me every step of the way. Great woman, fantastic workmanship. I’d highly recommend her to anyone.

Kerry was fantastic. Much much more thorough in her documentation and questioning during our initial meeting to draft our will than a solicitor we have used in the past. This was hugely reassuring. The explanations of the various clauses in plain English was also really appreciated. We would definitely recommend Foster Harrington for wills.
