Lazy and infuriating

Told me on the day of completion that I would have to pay stamp duty which I previously was not informed of.

Impossible to contact.

No contact since completion and still no sign of land registry

Worst covenyancing experience for a first time buyer

I have never been more frustrated with a service. This is my first home purchase and ONP made it a very painful experience.
The communication was poor, I was left to chase the vendor for outstanding enquiries and ONP still drug their feet for an approval. I'm now left in a very uncertain position for Christmas.

I will not recommend.

UNPROFESSIONAL - AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!

Unprofessional Group including the senior management.

We lost our property as the case worker asked the same query 3 times to the sellers solicitors and made us look silly for choosing O'Neill Patient.

The sellers solicitors still responded and our great case worker STILL DID NOT RESPOND for 2 WEEKS !!!!! just a plain query which could have been responded in 5 mins.

They don't know what a SPV is and took on our conveyancing case. Upon further investigation, our case worker turned out to be someone with no real experience of conveyancing. She was an Order picker for 2 years and then O'Neill Patient offered her a Case worker position !!!!

Currently we are reporting them to The Law Society, SRA, Legal Ombudsman and ICO as our GDPR requests haven't been acknowledged.

STAY AWAY FROM O'NEILL PATIENT..

Left £100s out of pocket and no response

Case managers change weekly. Left £100s out of pocket due to a service charge issue and no one will respond to my emails to resolve.

The worst service ever! Stay away from them

This is literally the worst service ever! We were 2 times in process of buying a house with them and both times they were very unresponsive. First time our lawyer was Jake Simmonds. This purchase didn't go trough since seller gave up on sale, but Jake was one of the worst people to do work with. Second time our lawyer is Rachael Lee. Just make sure that you never have to deal with any of them! We were supposed to complete at the begging or latest mid of June, and now it's 17th of June and we have no answer about progress update from them. We cannot get trough to them. Whatsoever it looks like Rachel went on a holiday 2 weeks before end of stamp duty and left our case hanging?! Seriously?! There is no phone number to call - well officially there is one but nobody will answer it. I cannot believe that this is a paid service, and there is no motivation from their side to do their job. Unbelievable!

TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE!!

What a shambles this company is; they incorrectly paid HMRC SDLT and won't do anything about it. So I am now out of pocket by more than £5000 on a transaction that should NOT have been made.
I have been trying to get a refund from HMRC and when I this I'm near to it, it turns out that the TR1 form was NOT even dated - unbelievable and inept.
Don't go anywhere near ONP, as they really are ONE ILL PATIENT!!!!

We had the pleasure of dealing with Tom Frith and would highly recommend him. He was extremely efficient and communicated clearly throughout, which was especially appreciated during what was a particularly stressful time.

4 weeks in and im being told that i.d checks issues have been raised and it's normal if i.d checks haven't been completed this far in the process. Next to no updates as to why things are being delayed and haven't moved past preliminary stages until a complaint was lodged. When challenged it was advised that this is normal service and process

As first-time buyers, we were initially nervous about the home-buying process, but having Elizabeth Cassidy as our solicitor made all the difference. From start to finish, she was incredibly supportive, responsive, and thorough in handling every aspect of the legal side of our purchase.

Elizabeth explained everything clearly, making sure we understood each stage and felt confident in the decisions we were making. She was always available to answer our questions, no matter how small, and her calm, reassuring manner helped ease any stress we had along the way.

Her attention to detail was outstanding she spotted and resolved potential issues before they could become problems, and she kept everything moving efficiently, ensuring there were no unnecessary delays. We always felt like we were in safe hands.

Thanks to Elizabeth’s hard work and expertise, the process went smoothly and we were able to complete our purchase without any complications. We’re truly grateful for her guidance and can’t recommend her highly enough to anyone, especially fellow first-time buyers.

Used them for a remortgage, the app is super easy to use and always up to date. The one time I wanted to phone and ask a few questions, i received a call back within an hour and spoke to a friendly lady who answered all my questions and concerns. Would definitely recommend.

Extremely slow with relaying information. I've had to make a phone call every time I wanted to find out information on how the remortgage was going. The lack of urgency and communication has resulted in me missing the completion date I was told we were "going for". Only positive is they are at least polite over the phone. Would NOT recommend.
