Lodge Legal have been brilliant. I used them to obtain Probate for my late wife’s estate, and also to arrange LPAs for health and finance. I was very pleased with the calm, hassle‑free service they provided throughout. I’ve dealt with a number of solicitors over the years, and I can honestly say that Lodge Legal offered exceptional service. They kept me fully up to date with progress and handled everything with sensitivity and professionalism. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing a solicitor’s services, especially those who are recently bereaved and in need of a steady, compassionate approach.

Luchia agreed to look into our trust issue and was able to help us when other firms had turned us away. She offered practical advice and was very clear on the steps that needed to happen to sort the issues out. She was very patient as we did have some issues with opening a bank account and the other sides solicitor was not fast in responding. First of all - gaining probate is just the first step. There are many steps after which require legal council. To be fair, the solicitor managed to get probate in a very timely matter, and within price, however wasn't interested in providing guidance on the next steps. I was actually told to speak with other solicitors. To make matters even more frustrating I had to chase for the return of documents I supplied relating to the case. My lasting impression is that clients are very much "just another number" and the firm has seen an easy way to make money from supplying probate as opposed to advising and supporting clients throughout their journey.

We do offer a full estate administration service for clients who do not wish to deal with the post grant administration themselves or where further guidance is needed once the Grant of Probate is received. We advise clients to speak to other Solicitors in relation to probate property sales as we do not offer conveyancing services. We decided to use Lodge brothers to obtain Probate for my late mother after a initial conversation with Lorna Greening who explained the whole process very clearly and totally put us at ease
