Helen undertook the whole issue of Probate & Inheritance Tax following my mothers death. She was extremely helpful and prompt with all matters and kept me fully informed at all times.
I later asked her to deal with Powers of Attorney for myself & my wife and with this she was again very effective and helpful

We were referred to Duncan Cook at Lodge Brothers Legal Services following a sudden and unexpected family bereavement and valued his calm, approachable, courteous and empathetic manner from the very start. Duncan was able to explain the process of probate simply and clearly and advise on what we might manage ourselves and what might require legal input. Duncan was both knowledgeable and professional and we particularly valued his advice and expertise when the named executor was unable to assume the role due to health reasons. Communication was excellent - Duncan kept us informed throughout and responded to all queries promptly. Fees were clear and fair. We would highly recommend Mr Cook for excellence of service.
