Appointed this firm to defend a money-grab from the ex-wife, in addition to her divorce settlement. The amount she wanted was £5000. BBM charged me £4500 and did virtually NOTHING except bombard with emails and phone calls at all hours of the day and night. In the end i just gave up as their costs were soaring ever higher. Two examples of possible FRAUD on their part - firstly they appointed TWO solicitors to handle my case, despite my reservations, and were billing for repeated work from both of them of course. Secondly, they needed divorce documents to check something which took me less than 5 minutes to find and verify - but they charged THREE HOURS to read the entire document, none of which was necessary. The final insult is that they have now sent an additional bill of £1600 on top of the £4500 already paid - together with the usual threats of court action if i dont pay. £6100 to defend a 5k case which never even got to court and some very dunious accounting by BBM solicitors, together with threats and intimidation. AVOID THIS FIRM AT ALL COSTS.
