On the recommendation of Lawshare, I instructed Emma to draft a claim letter for me. She messed up the task completely. Not only did she take a very long time on a time-sensitive claim but the letter she drafted wasn't compliant with the relevant protocol and was not compliant with any protocol which put me at risk of sanctions. I was going to ask her to issue proceedings and she got greedy and asked for £3500 and decided to drop me when I ask her to justify the rate. I am lucky that she did not continue with my case because I would have not only lost the claim but been subject to sanctions because the letter that Emma drafted was faulty. I had to get expert help and pay again to get the letter drafted but my claim may have been compromised by Emma. When I confronted her, she said that I instructed her because I was being cheap and then refused to send me my client files even though I asked her several times. I will file a complaint with the Ombudsman and will take it to negligence solicitors.
