My elderly neighbour's husband died and we ask BJ McKenna to take responsibility for finalising the terms of the will and associated finances . They have been outstanding . Jack has been wonderful and I cannot thank him enough. He has been professional, knowledge, helpful and understanding. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending their services.

I have been helped by Louise Tomlinson, solicitor at McKenna & Co several times, initially in 2019 to draft a Will, subsequent to that, in relation to a very sensitive personal matter, and most recently in 2025, to re-draft my Will. I've always found Louise to be kind and sympathetic, willing to listen attentively, as well as being efficient and professional. I have enjoyed working with her and always felt I was in trusted hands. Most recently, Louise was also an important source of information and advice that led me to make further enquiries and stopped a potentially problematic issue developing regarding my estate. Michaela at BJ Mckenna & Co is very experienced in LPA matters and Wills. Within the past twelve months she has set up an LPA for my sister and for my wife and I, she has set up our wills in order to reduce the impact of care home fees if that occurs in the future. She is very knowledgeable and explains everything in a straightforward and easy to understand manner and is very likeable. She is also able to visit if necessary.

Visited BJ McKenna and Co recently to update my will at a difficult time in my life. I was greeted by Anna who was friendly , helpful and empathetic to my situation. She referred me to Simran who showed the same kind and caring qualities. She assisted me in a professional and proficient manner ensuring I understood everything clearly and was happy with my decisions. Everything was done in a very timely manner to meet my needs I have no hesitation in recommending them - it was excellent service and customer care from start to finish.

Wanted to update my will, due to a change in beneficiaries. I was told that I could not merely amend it, but was not advised, during a telephone conversation with the female partner, of the exorbitant cost of the revised document. If you deal with the firm, ALWAYS ask for a quote before agreeing to anything. Cannot award zero stars for her, sadly. Hopefully the other partners are more up front.
All our clients are advised of the costs before appointments are made here the cost was £145 plus vat of £29 in total £174 for dealing with a number of complex amendments which is a competitive rate. Those costs were confirmed in writing also.
I just wanted to thank Jane Morris- Rowlinson for all her help and kindness in dealing with my late Mother's estate. Jane really goes that extra mile. She made us feel so valued and welcomed at a very stressful time in our lives. For this we extend a big thank you and we would not hesitate in recommending this solicitor. Thank you Jane.

Dealt with Bj Mckenna having been recommended by estate agent selling house for us. From first contact with Mandy & Janet they were helpful, and the service continued to be so when Jodie dealt with the sale for us. She was efficient, responsive, patient and understanding. Because of circumstances surrounding the sale i had at times dealt with Louise who also had the same qualities. Would definitely recommend BJ Mckenna.

We were nervous, with no prior experience of buying or selling property but Jodie guided us throughout the process, explaining everything simply and clearly. The staff there, especially Colin Cumine and Mandy were very thorough, personal and exceptionally helpful. I have no hesitation in recommending them.
A HUGE thanks to Jack ( you are amazing ) plus the whole team! A elderly neighbour's husband died last year and the help and support his widow has received has been outstanding. We were kept updated throughout. The few problems encountered with banks, etc were resolved and the process is now concluded. A special mention from me to Anna for her assistance when I have phoned. Her cheerfulness and professional manner was greatly appreciated. Based on this experience I have no hesitation in recommending them and I would happily give a higher rating than 5 stars if it had been available! 🤩
