Absolutely first class

I was supported through an extremely difficult case by Helen Hunt, who was truly amazing throughout. She has a gift with negotiation under challenging circumstances, coupled with a confident and empathetic approach, bringing about the well deserved positive outcome. If I ever need support again, I know exactly who I'm contacting! Thank you ever so much! TH 27/09/2024

For guardian of our granddaughter

It was professional from start to finish. 100% updated on everything about the case. Jonathan Woodhouse is amazing, we could not have got a better solicitor. A very caring gentleman. I would recommend him to anyone, which I have told several people about. Very caring, nothing was any trouble if you needed to talk to him.

Needs some honing

We decided to use this firm for conveyancing after using for my grandfather's probate. The specific solicitor we dealt with on that was exceptional, however for conveyancing I felt there was room to improve.

Our solicitor was kind and responsive but lacked precision in his language, meaning that our wants and needed weren't communicated effectively to the seller or her solicitor. In the end I had to write a direct letter to the seller and her solicitor to move things along.

The firm also claimed to be paper-free but in reality this mostly meant a lot of downloading and editing pdfs, rather than an effective system and we sometimes seemed to (slightly randomly) get things in the post which could have been sent as email attachments.

Overall this firm is well meaning but needs to be a bit tighter in their systems and approach to provide an exceptional service.

Fantastic service, once again!

We have used FAB a few times now, for different things over the last 10 years. The service is fantastic. So when it came to selling our property we of course, were going to use FAB. We were introduced to Clare Nicholl. From the very first phone call she was outstanding. She is extremely knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Clare was available via phone and email, always ready to help. This was the first property that I have sold, so I had many questions! Nothing was too much. Clare was so supportive. Communication was excellent throughout the process and we were always kept up to date. Thank you so much Clare. Your help and support has been greatly appreciated!

Excellent communication and always kept up to date with the progress of my purchase.

Thank you for all your help

I’ve recently completed on the sale of my property and have also completed on the purchase. I used the Hartlepool office and would highly recommend using Lynne Robinson, Beth and Izzy. I was recommended to FAB from my estate agent, IGO move and I’m so glad I used them.

Despite us having hiccups along the way due to the buyers solicitor not being as responsive, Lynne and Beth kept me updated throughout.

All legal jargon was explained clearly to me and so I wasn’t left wondering what was going on. The team in Hartlepool are all really friendly, professional and worth their weight in gold. Had it not been for their communication and knowledge, we probably still wouldn’t have been completed.

I would 100% recommend the Hartlepool office if you are looking for a professional, responsive and down to earth team to work with.

Thanks again!
Beth Riley
