I have used Butterworths solicitors for different reasons. My experience was excellent throughout when making an injury claim and with the preparation of our wills. However, for conveyancing purposes, my experience was average; i had to do some chasing.

Butterworths helped me with what ended up being anything but a straightforward bungalow sale.
From day 1 the Housing Association responsible for estate management caused delay after delay. They either failed to return calls, respond to emails, even changing the agreed sale amount when we thought we’d got everything in order.
Thanks to Gill Dubyk, who despite all the problems thrown at her by the Housing Association, dealt with all the issues and got them to admit to their error over valuation price and the sale finally went through successfully.
It helped that Gill phoned me direct, explaining what was happening and also being available to take my calls when required.
I can’t thank Gill and Butterworths enough for dealing with what turned out to be a very difficult sale.

I found working with Christine Mason and her conveyancing team took a lot of the stress and hassle out of the completion process.
Older rural properties have an added degree of complexity especially if they have Bore hole water supply and a septic tank / sewage treatment system. All of the legal and compliance issues were handled without unnecessary delay and they kept things moving to achieve the agreed completion date.

I had some trouble with online forms. Did not work for me causing quite a delay until someone kindly offered a paper copy to sign which worked I appreciate that Butterworths are going through some changes but seems like are being pushed out to you without fully testing. People I have been dealing with have been very good.

Lizzy was absolutely amazing as we're all other staff members.
It was a big ask to be able to purchase my property in a very short timescale.
Lizzy pulled out all the stops and was always just a phone call away. I did drop in occasionally if I had any queries and Lizzy was always happy to see me and point me in the right direction. Absolutely amazing lady who really knows how to steer a sale & buy.

Over a lifetime I have been involved in buying and selling numerous properties.
As the years have go by, the whole experience gets longer and more drawn out.
You just need a solicitor who is up to date and competent, and can make sense of the modern world's endless "nit picking". Butterworths kept me informed during the whole process and got the job done.
