Originally offered a sum and was advised to accept it as they said I would get no more. After I did all the negotiations the final figure was x6 the original offer. They were happy to take their fee even though they did virtually nothing.

This firm have a very good family law section, conducted my divorce in a professional manner, always mindful to avoid cost escalation. My experience was one of well placed letters written and good compromise achieved in acrimonious family situation. You could not be in better hands

I would suggest that people DO NOT!! use this ferm. No concept of doing what you advise. You say that you want to go to court but instead they write a letter to the other person and then charge you for it. Not a single hint that I was going to court. Says he is a solicitor but makes you think 'does he actually have qualifications to be a solicitor?'. Called but was told he is on the phone and will call me back after, 3 days passed and still no call back. I ended up going to another ferm so I've not spoken to them since. These guys are a money grabbing scam.
