Discretionary Settlement

This took a long time to resolve due to unforeseen circumstances, these were resolved in a professional way by utilising external experts. Although it took longer than at first thought to reach a conclusion, I was kept very well informed throughout and was regularly involved in decision making to move the process forward. I feel that my opinion was valued and respected so that I was very involved in the process. The solicitors that I had most contact with, Cassandra and Marion, were both very professional, willing to discuss things, willing to listen, friendly and approachable. Thank you.

Family law experts and incredible service.

Absolutely incredible service from Ben, Marcella and of the team. I had a relatively complex case with a very difficult other side and they helped me stay through all of the issues within the family law sphere. I cannot possibly recommend them highly enough.

Dreadful company- treated like a second class citizen

I was going through a divorce and was pressurised by my estranged husband to use Shacklocks to deal with the sale of our house as he was using them for the divorce. I was not treated as an equal to my husband and not kept informed properly. I was treated very rudely by a senior male employee who was overseeing the work. When it came to the final bill, it was not until the money had already been subtracted from my half share of the proceeds of the sale of the house that I discovered that there were more expenses than I had been told about.

An excellent conveyancing team

Having bought or sold several houses in the last two years we know how stressful the procedure can be. However, this was the first time we'd employed Shacklocks' conveyancing department to sell a property and what a refreshing change they made. An excellent service. I should particularly like to thank Christalla and Jordanna for the roles they played in our sale.

Excellent service.

I had the pleasure of dealing with Marion Vesey and Cassandra Worton of Shacklocks solicitors, Mansfield, and I cannot express how grateful I am for their outstanding service. Their professionalism and attention to detail has been exceptional and I have always found them to be respectful and communicative. Whilst dealing with my parents’ trust for many years they have always shown great expertise having taken the time to understand my concerns and ensure that I felt informed and supported every step of the way. Their ability to navigate complex legal issues to deliver favourable outcomes is testament to their skill and dedication.

Moreover, Jordanna Smedley and the entire team at Shacklocks solicitors contributed to the positive experience at the end of the end of the sale of property conveyancing. They were approachable, responsive, and demonstrated a genuine commitment to achieving the best possible results for their clients. Their client-focused approach makes them stand out as exemplary solicitors in their field. Many thanks, Jordana.

Conveyancing through a chain

After my parents passed away the tricky business of house conveyancing was managed very professionally by a conveyancing technician for Shacklocks LLP. What I thought was a straightforward sale became complicated by an unforeseen chain of four properties and things dragged out to the point at which I considered re-marketing. However, following the conveyancing technician's calm and common sense advice we proposed a deadline date for completion and things finally began moving to a satisfactory conclusion.
