Sue McGregor, was assigned to assist us with probate , following the death of my brother. Whilst Sue remained professional at all times, she was always friendly and approachable. Sue was sensitive to my situation, and also to my sister in the law who was grieving the loss of her husband. Sue reponded promply to queries, we needed answered. The process of applying for probate was clearly set out for us, she helped us to negotiated legal terminlogy with clear explanation and without judgement. Despite the length of time it took to complete, any delays that took place were not because of her disinterest, she would explain she was just waiting for responses from another. It was a comfort to us both to work with such a kind and supportive person. Thank you Sue!

We have used Scott Richards for 3 residential property conveyances during the last 7 years and were very happy with the highly professional service they provided on all of them. As is often the case with house moves, problems can arise that are beyond their control. This happened late in the day on two of them but in both cases, we were kept clearly informed and they were tenacious in chasing other parties for information and moving them along as fast as possible towards completion. They were also diligent in dealing with a number of legal issues that arose, challenging unreasonable items raised by other parties’ solicitors and efficiently putting in remedies as required. We were particularly grateful to Liz Rodgers in this respect on the most recent conveyance, but also to the rest of the conveyancing team who also played their part. The most important thing for me, and I’m sure anyone else, is good communication and they get this right. We have also used them for will writing and providing advice on inheritance and trusts which can get quite complex, and were very happy with the comprehensive information provided by Christine Shute which recently enabled us to set up our wills appropriately. We felt that their fees on all of this have been very reasonable, staying in line with estimates, despite some apparent additional work and would highly recommend them.

All seems to have gone reasonably well. The paperwork received had some old clauses in it from our purchase in 2010. Luckily we had copies filed from that transaction otherwise we would have had difficulty in understanding them. Thank you

Could you make sure that the management companies are actually paying the rents as your company called them. I've got evidence in cheques and demands that I've paid mine.so I'm morally sound.But if you are following the lafra bill you will know that us leaseholders are at the sharp end of dodgy practices
We cannot see that you are a client of ours. Notwithstanding, we have no control over what management companies do in respect of rents and how the decisions they make have any relevance to the services we provide to our clients.
Michelle Norish at Scott Richards dealt with a transfer of equity/remortgage for my home, and provided me with excellent service throughout. She explained things clearly and kept me updated regularly. She went above and beyond to get things through to completion in my required timescale. I cannot recommend her highly enough!
