I found myself in a Sussex Police custody suite. Antony gave me advice before my interview. I followed his advice and the result of the interview was beneficial to me. Antony was was helpful and approachable throughout, which to me equals excellent service.

For most, an encounter with solicitors is usually limited and often related to buying a house or dealing with a family members death which are both stressful events in themselves. But where do you begin to seek help and competent experience? When you face a significant legal event which, could destroy your family and in the run up to Christmas have devastating effects. When you're living away from home, worried about money, every decision weighs heavy in your head and on your heart. Which is why I can't recommend the services of South Down highly enough. I can honestly and sincerely say that within 12 hours of my initial request for help, I had an in-depth frank discussion with Alistair who, took a complex situation applied his experience and logic. He was then able to make reasonable positive suggestions. Due to the potential seriousness of the matter within a day Alistair at South Down law had sought an experienced legal opinion from a barrister. The complex lengthy and confusing paperwork, which was required, was done prompt and effectively. Within three working days there was a Crown Court hearing date set at the end of the week. On the evening before the hearing, I again received reassuring supportive messages both in e-mail and via call. This gave clear expectations of what to expect, and at no point did I feel uncertain worried or alone. The barrister on the day, was fully aware, and his experience provided all the incredible skills you would expect. as a result we secured the right outcome a reasonable cost.
