very disappointing
My mother died, leaving a very simple Will and up to date accounts, making Mervyn Baker Executor. We were quoted 6 months to 1 year for Powis and Co to complete the work necessary. It has however, taken over two years, for Powis and Co., to enact the will and finalise the distribution of funds. Our experience was one of complete frustration, due to the number of mistakes that were made, their short working day, poor communication and a failure to engage with 21st century methods of communication.

Excellent, efficient, friendly and swift service and guidance
On the recommendation of many friends and neighbours in North Essex we used Mervyn Baker at Powis and Co to both buy a property near Colchester and sell a house in London. I cannot praise him enough. He kept me up to date at all stages and was easy to contact and speak with. Even my Estate Agent called to say that he found him very easy, I am very pleased to say the whole experience was straight forward, quick and stress free. I am more than happy to recommend Mervyn and Powis & Co. The next time I need the services of a solicitor I will definitely use them.

Excellent service
I rang Carlie at Powis & Co last week to update my will. She saw me within a few days, took my instructions, sent out a draft will and today I signed the final version. Not only did she do it all in super quick time, she listened to my instructions and acted accordingly. In addition, it was not expensive. I would highly recommend her.
