My experience with Sternberg Reed has been nothing short of amazing. I contacted this firm (amongst others) when I needed guidance on a family law matter. From my initial interaction with the firm, it was an easy decision to go with them for legal advice and representation.
Aimee Jones was fantastic and compassionate from our initial meeting. She is very knowledgeable, and was able to provide me with the right advice and guidance. When I needed to make decisions, she ensured that I was equipped with all the information needed to arrive at the best decision for me and my situation. I truly felt like I wasn't alone, and I had people who were committed to getting me the best possible outcome. I was kept updated throughout the process and all my questions were answered promptly.
I also want to say thank you to Thomas, who worked hard alongside Aimee in preparing my case for court. Aimee and the team displayed a high level of professionalism, and supported me through what was a difficult time in my life. If I could give 10 stars to Rebecca Viola at Sternberg Reed, I would.

To say she saved my life would not be an exaggeration. I was in an emotionally harrowing situation, entangled in a case riddled with coercive control and psychological abuse. My ex-partner’s behaviour had left me emotionally shattered and legally vulnerable. I had initially been placed in the care of Andrew Crossley at the same firm, and that experience was deeply troubling and distressing.

Andrew mishandled key communications, demonstrated a profound lack of empathy, and failed to grasp the urgency and sensitivity of the emotional trauma I was experiencing. His negligence, lack of insight, and procedural errors caused delays, confusion, and added significantly to my distress. I submitted a formal complaint regarding Andrew’s conduct, citing a cascade of errors and mishandlings that nearly derailed my case at a critical juncture.

Then came Rebecca. From the very first message I sent her, she saw through everything. Without me having to say it outright, she understood the nature of the abuse I was facing. She picked up on the signs of coercive control immediately - something even experienced professionals often miss. It was as if she stepped in like a guardian angel, exactly when I needed one the most.

Rebecca didn’t just take over my case; she transformed it. She brought clarity, wisdom, and compassion to every single interaction. Her knowledge of the law was only matched by her emotional intelligence. She didn’t just represent me - she protected me. Her ability to anticipate patterns of manipulation, shut them down legally, and restore my sense of agency was nothing short of life-saving.

There were moments when I felt paralysed by fear and self-doubt, but Rebecca remained a constant, grounding force. She never once made me feel small, dramatic, or difficult. She validated my experience at every turn, which gave me the strength to keep going.

Without Rebecca, I would have been left to the mercy of someone who knew exactly how to manipulate a system not designed to detect emotional abuse. With her, I stood a chance - and I’m still standing now because of her.

Richard Cooper the assigned solicitor for my partner’s case, got us a better outcome than we’d endeavoured. Although the case was finalised, I had a lot of questions

I was recently represented by Richard cooper for a lengthly two and a half years in what seemed like a never ending court case, during this time Richard made me feel comfortable showing compassion and understanding.
