Great — thanks for the update! Here’s your revised review including the correct name of the company, I’ve been a tenant of Notting Hill Genesis, living in a one-bedroom flat since 2018. Every winter, I had to deal with severe damp around the ceiling and windows. The old sash windows were broken and rattling, and despite years of complaints, nothing was ever done. I had to repaint the flat myself year after year, and finally, I’d had enough. That’s when I was introduced to Astraea Linskills, and thankfully, to a truly wonderful solicitor — Sandra Craig. From the moment she took over, things finally started moving. Sandra advised me clearly, acted swiftly, and within 13 months, we had won the case. All the necessary repair works were approved, and I received a generous compensation package too. I can’t thank Sandra enough for her hard work, professionalism, and genuine care. THE WORST SOLICITORS IN LIVERPOOL. NOT RECOMMENDED. I instructed this firm to represent my disabled son who was in custody for sentencing. They charged few hundred pounds to visit him in prison the day before the court hearing , but the actual solicitor didn’t bother to go and sent someone else who is not a solicitor to visit him. The next day, they said the solicitor who supposed to represent my son is in the hospital and another solicitor representing him via video link. I paid nearly £1000 for that hearing and not representing in person was totally unreasonable. To add further insult, the solicitor who was representing ( the owner of the firm) was in Dubai on that day and she was doing video link from Dubai!!!! That solicitor was sitting at the end of a bed ( we could see the headboard behind her) and speaking via video link from Dubai. The sound quality was very poor. That solicitor appeared very unprofessional, sound was unclear and it was keep breaking up and it was hard to hear her or understand what she was saying in the court room. That solicitor spoke for couple of minutes asking the judge to delay the sentencing for medical reports, when the judge refused that solicitor had nothing else to say in my son’s defence. Basically I was charged nearly £1000 on that day for a few minutes video link. That solicitor showed total lack of care for my disabled son. I sent the firm large number of medical records in the days leading to the hearing, that solicitor didn’t mentioned any of my son’s disabilities or used any of those medical evidence they had in their possession. That solicitor made no submission to the court at all. That solicitor did NOT say one word to defend my disabled son. We watched 3 other cases in front of the same judge. All their solicitors were present in person and they were fighting on behalf of their relevant clients to the bitter end but my son had nobody to defend him. My son was let down completely by this firm. That day in that court my son had NO SOLICITOR to defend him or make any submission whatsoever on his behalf. This firm’s handling of my son’s case was completely unprofessional and shameful.
