I had a very disappointing experience with Reiss Edwards during my divorce process. My original lawyer was professional and efficient, but after she left, my case was handed over to Miss Zarish and everything became unnecessarily stressful. My divorce was extremely straightforward — there was nothing to dispute, and all the paperwork, including the consent order, had already been prepared by my previous lawyer. Miss Zarish only needed to submit the documents to the court, yet the process was delayed by over a month due to poor communication and lack of follow-up. She repeatedly failed to respond to emails unless I chased her, often replying very late at night. She also incorrectly claimed that I had not paid for the financial order, despite the fact that I had already paid in full. I had to spend time going through my bank statements and emails to prove it. Three weeks ago, I requested a copy of the sealed financial order and I am still waiting. Overall, this was one of the most stressful professional experiences I’ve had, completely unnecessary for such a simple case. I would not recommend this firm based on my experience.
