Absolutely useless!!
My Brother-in Law died eighteen months ago. Despite repeated requests from my 83 year old sister ( who spent nine weeks in hospital with a broken leg and hip during the saga) and my niece (who was suffering from cancer and subsequently died), the estate and probate has still not been settled.
To cap it all, my sister has just been informed by her late husband's bank, that she did not need a solicitor, did not need to apply for probate and that Thompson and Cooke had a moral obligation to advise her accordingly.
I have used several firms of solicitors through the years, and this practice is by far the worst, most money grabbing, unethical and useless I have ever come across.
Avoid like the plague!!
