Conveyancing Stealth Charge

Happy with the conveyancing service provided. Friendly staff and good service. Massively disappointed at the 'exchange and completion within 7 days' charge! Sold several houses over the years and have NEVER seen this before. Maybe they think that you won't notice as they send you a pile of cash, burying the charge transaction in amongst the breakdown of fees and charges. Stealth charge and not happy about it!

Does not communicate well at all

This review is for a different branch.

They did my conveyancing for a house sale. The basics were done (ie the sale went through), but the communication leading up to it was really poor. Didn’t acknowledge receipt of emails or documents when requested, ignored questions about the conveyancing forms and did not once return my phone calls. I also had a question on my bill which they chose to ignore. I’d definitely not use them again. At a stressful time of sale, a few brief responses would have put me at ease but they couldn’t be bothered to do that.
