I had an inheritance issue, dealing with probate etc. The work was completed well, and I am now having them do some more work for me. Katie Daniel was whom I dealt with, and I thank her for the hard work... however, it was her assistant Mark Thomson that for me was the star of the show. We all know that solicitors are busy people and hard to contact sometimes... Mr Thomson always replied the same day, always emailed when he said he would and went the extra mile to make sure I was kept well informed at every step... and for legal matters, that is all we ever need, so many thanks to Katie and her team.

Jeromes – Where do I start. STAY AWAY New to the Isle of wight so I thought we'd go local. Moving house and family death I think we all agree are very stressful. We instructed Jeromes after a pleasant phone call to purchase our Aunts house from Probate. They gave an initial estimated time of 15 weeks. After 3 weeks had passed, I chased. No one answered nor returned my calls. I then emailed to receive a (Short staff due to Covid generic email) Ok we are in unprecedented times, so I left it a further 2 weeks. I then managed to get through to someone after several attempts (Get the theme, hard to contact them), I asked for someone to call me back as I am nervous it’s been 5+ weeks with no communication, and they finally phoned back to say that our solicitor has left and the director would be taking over. I asked again about dates and the lady flippantly replied “All dates are out of the window at the moment”. WELL “My mortgage and builders are time bound”. Nothing again for another week. I called again and the same lady said, “I shall find out for you now”. Well….. After an hour or so we had an email saying “Due to the level of business and staff shortages we are unable to act as your solicitors” No suggestion of other solicitors or other advice. They are slow, do not care for their clients and in my personal opinion (The most unprofessional solicitors I have ever dealt with) This is my personal experience. You can use mainland solicitors (That's what we have now done, go back to whom I've used before)
