Disappointing Experience Due to Late Conflict of Interest
I was disappointed with the service I received from MJV. My onboarding was completed in mid‑May and everything appeared to be progressing normally, but weeks later — after searches were ordered, enquiries were raised, and all of my documents were submitted — I was suddenly told there was a conflict of interest and the firm could no longer act for me. This should have been identified at the very beginning, not after significant work had already been carried out. The late notification caused avoidable delay and meant I had to find a new solicitor at short notice and go through the entire onboarding process again, which was stressful and completely unnecessary. I hope MJV reviews their internal processes so future clients don’t experience the same disruption.
