I still haven’t received my statement of completion 6 working days after completion. The firm didn’t have my bank details so transfer of funds was held up which was not revealed until I queried why no funds had been transferred. I am still waiting for a response as to when I can expect to receive my statement of completion. Do not recommend this firm.

Kerry Williams has just completed our house purchase. I was a conveyancer for a number of years and so appreciate how efficient and thorough she has been. The initial letter was comprehensive and clear, we were able to prove our ID remotely during lockdown and we were kept informed throughout. Concerns over recent scams regarding the sending of funds were dealt with in the first letter when bank details were provided with clear instructions that these would not change and would never be emailed. We sent Kerry a copy of our survey and she followed up several points raised with the vendor’s solicitors that was helpful. I was particularly impressed when attending the offices to sign the documentation where a COVID safe interview room had been set up. The paperwork was all set out for us and all the searches and title previously emailed was printed off and bound together for us to take away. The title and documents were fully explained to us by Kerry. Having recently had to help my nephew (a first time buyer of a flat) whose solicitor was sending documents by email with instructions to read them with no explanation made me appreciate this all the more. We felt perfectly confident in our choice of solicitor throughout the transaction. I would highly recommend the firm and Kerry Williams.
