Lost my eviction case
I had a very poor experience with SLS Solicitors Ltd in relation to an eviction matter. I paid SLS Solicitors Ltd to act on my eviction case, however the matter was lost in January, and I do not believe the case was handled with the level of care, preparation, or diligence that should reasonably be expected. Key aspects of the eviction process were not progressed properly, and the handling of the case resulted in avoidable delay, cost, and prejudice to my position as a landlord. Despite having taken my money, the work carried out did not reflect the service I was led to expect. Communication was poor, progress was slow, and the overall management of the case fell short of professional standards. Following this, I also experienced serious issues in relation to unpaid invoices under a separate commercial arrangement. Services were provided in full, yet payment was not made as agreed, despite repeated written requests and formal demands. Overall, this experience caused significant financial loss, wasted time, and unnecessary stress. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to proceed with caution, ensure all work is clearly scoped, and closely monitor performance and billing when dealing with this firm.
