DO NOT USE - THEY ARE A SHAMBLES !

The case wasn't even attended by this business; they sent out a local representative who turned up with the wrong offence, none of the prior evidence I had sent and was totally ill-prepared. Then, when challenged, she admitted I was only given the case that morning - hence the result BANNED! FOR 6 MONTHS DRIVING AND A HEAVY FINE - ALL AFTER BEING PRESURED TO PAY UP FRONT £3600.00! The principal, Shazia Ali, had a great sales pitch before getting your money, then left it until the very last minute to speak to me before the case date and delivered awful results - DO NOT USE SCARSDALE, you will end up SCARD !!!

After receiving a settlement visa for my family,

I had an incredible journey from the first application, refusal, court appeal and having indefinite leave to remain in the UK scardale was with us step by step as a professional firm. They support me emotionally as no other solicitor can do for you whole team was amazing but Shazia was, is and will be like my friend. She treats me like a family. even I went this morning to visit Scarsdale just to say thank you for being so kind to me. She has been busy to moving her office to the new big place and I am so happy to see her business growing day by day 👏. Huge thanks to Shazia and her team

I recently contacted Shazia and the Scarsdale team as I had received 2 speeding tickets. Shazia agreed to pick up my case at very short notice. Huge success today as I walked out of court holding onto my driving license. Today is like a lucky day for me I just have been inform by Shazia Ali I have received an indefinite leave to remain in the UK. I don’t usually write reviews, but I feel responsible to warn others. This lawyer seemed very polite and professional at first — especially before and during the first meeting. But after that? A complete nightmare. She stopped answering calls altogether, and when I finally managed to get through, she scolded me for calling and said she was “busy.” Excuse me?

Appointments are a joke — she gives you a slot after 4 weeks, and even then it’s just 15 minutes, out of which she actually talks to you for maybe 5 minutes. The rest of the time, she’s chatting away with her assistant like your time doesn’t matter at all.

I swear on my mum’s life, I have never felt so disrespected by a so-called “professional.”
Please don’t waste your time, energy, or money on her.
She’s absolutely miserable.

I was referred by a friend to Shazia at Scarsdale Solicitors in relation to a spouse visa application. From the moment of our first appointment, I noticed that she was very interested in our case, asked all the relevant questions, and I can honestly say she gave us her professional opinion. Following on from this, we stayed in regular contact with Shazia and her team. She would ask us for documentation that was promptly provided. She constantly provided us with reassurance, advice and guidance. Needless to say, the application process was seamless, and the visa was granted much quicker than we could have ever anticipated. I have since referred another friend to Scarsdale Solicitors, and I found out very recently their case was also successful. I would highly recommend Scarsdale Solicitors. I would not recommend Scarsdale Solicitors based on my experience.

I contacted them after being charged with speeding on the motorway. I explained to Shazia that I had recently lost my mother and was facing court with significant mitigating circumstances. Instead of showing any empathy or support, she dismissed my reasons for speeding and stated that my only hope of a positive outcome was if she could find an error in the police paperwork.

She then quoted me £2,500 and said she could not begin working on the case until the full amount was paid — no flexibility, no reassurance, just pressure.

I decided to seek a second opinion and was quoted £700 by a different solicitor, who was not only professional and understanding, but also kept me calm and informed throughout. That solicitor helped me prepare everything properly — and ultimately, all charges were dropped by the police.

Shazia’s attitude and approach were the complete opposite of what you’d expect from someone in a supportive legal role. I also noticed many of their 5-star reviews appear to be written by people linked to the firm, which raises serious concerns.

One word: AVOID

Road Traffic – Highly Recommend Scarsdale Solicitors

Scarsdale Solicitors was recommended to me by a friend and through online searching, and I’m so glad I reached out to them. I was facing a road traffic charge for using a mobile phone while driving by an off duty officer. I contacted Scarsdale Solicitors right away and was promptly put in touch with Shazia, who was an absolute pleasure to speak to.

She took the time to listen carefully to my situation and clearly explained how the case could proceed. From the very beginning, I felt reassured and supported. On my court date, everything was organised and handled professionally by the team. Communication was excellent throughout, and I always felt in the loop through email, WhatsApp text, and phone calls.

Thanks to their expertise and thorough preparation, the case was thrown out of court due to lack of merit—no fines, no points on my licence. I can’t thank Shazia and the team at Scarsdale enough. I highly recommend them to anyone needing legal representation, especially for road traffic matters.
