Brilliant service
I got caught in a tight spot with no time or help, I emailed off a recommendation and the reply was almost instant, they made my worst fears disappear and gave me the help and confidence to get through my legal case and come out on top of it, without them I’m unsure what I would have done.

Very unprofessional and rude. Solicitor running late by over an hour then blamed the train delays! Office staff rude and had a very bad attitude because of their own error?! I would avoid like the plague!! Very poor firm.

Family Defence, is a high-level law firm- to which I will be forever grateful to, and highly recommend.
The level of commitment from this firm to my case; was truly inspiring.
Right from the onset, the reception staff, through to the solicitors, were very caring; and exact. All initial queries were dealt with immediately and resolved.
The lawyer who was assigned to my case (Gowsigan) is in one word; exceptional. He went above and beyond to help. His communication was crystal clear, all queries were responded to exact, in a timely manner, with his understanding of my personal situation- so on point.
His ability to express the legal process to me in layman's terms, as well as explain the daunting process of court and support me at court; made the entire court process a much less daunting one, and a process in which I felt fully supported and cared for.
I will be forever grateful to Family Defence and to Gowsigan. Thank you forever.

I was left 2 weeks before court with a new solicitor that had no idea what was going on with the case. I was called in to the office to go over documents required by the court. Once at my appointment the solicitors has not 1 document from my case although they had been sent everything so we couldn't even do anything.
I'm still waiting for the finalised copy of the order from the last hearing over a month later. I was totally dropped at the last minute when it mattered the most which resulted in me never being represented by a solicitor. No one knew anything about my case although the legal aid cleared 8 months prior and all documents were sent and there was plenty of time to get my case presented clearly. I did not get any support from this solicitors. They left me hanging dry. The legal advice I did receive came from a solicitor who left 2 weeks before my hearing leaving me stuck and realising the advice I was given was wrong and reflected on the fact they knew they wouldn't be there to do the work. It's sad this happened as it ruined my family and case at court.
