I used HCA in a situation where monies were due from a firm that had been shut down by the SRA. At the first meeting with the senior partner Mr amin he told me the case would cost 100 to 120k and only 80pc would be recovered. The insurance company finally gave in and the case was settled. On the way to the settlement HCA lost every time and there clear negligence is now subject to proceedings which I am confident of winning. To my horror this crook now claims that we never talked about the cost of the case and when he was asked for a copy of the client care letter a document appeared that I have never seen before which he now refuses to confirm where this came from. My message is if you still want to deal with him get a client care letter first.
