We hired Laurus to do our conveyancing for a property we bought at auction. On my first conversation with my solicitor I was told I could call her any time if I had a question. That was the last time I spoke to her, she never answered the phone or returned my calls. The communication was absolutely appalling. I had to email and call relentlessly to get answers to basic questions, which eventually got answered by email. Promises to respond promptly were almost never kept. We were in the dark for the vast majority of the process. Three weeks in, we couldn't even get an answer as to whether contact with the sellers solicitors had even been initiated. For the money Laurus charge, this is appalling service. Paying higher fees for conveyancing does not get you a higher calibre of service. Anyone reading this is advised to look elsewhere.

Used him at a previous law firm - NOT at Laurus but I found him unkind and feel that he charged more than was necessary. Seemed to take delight in pressuring me while going through an extremely vulnerable time - caring for & losing my mother while also mng another High Court case on her behalf (before death) to exit bad tenants. I would not recommend him personally-I still get anxiety thinking our meetings. NB - not about Laurus the firm - only this specific solicitor

We were pushed by Marsh & Parsons to choose Laurus in order to purchase our property. To sum up, we found it overpriced. Overpromising and what was included before signing the contract miraculously turned out to be added/extra charges after we signed the contract. Do not recommend.

A divorce is the most stressful time and I found William Hogg and Laurus Law for the second round of issues I needed help to solve regarding child matters already in place. William's experience and knowledge, combined with the professional team at Laurus Law, meant that the issue was dealt with honesty, compassion, openness, and a direct approach (not just telling me what I wanted to hear was refreshing). At stressful times William's humor helped hugely. I have tried a few firms over the last few years and this is by far the best!

I'm very satisfied with my solicitors Jack Mcbride and Farah Syed. They are very professional and responsible ,and did a very detailed work for me .They searched all the documents and gave me a lot of useful suggestion and information. Because it's my first time to buy property in UK,I'm not familiar with UK's process, so I asked many questions and they replied to me very quickly and clearly. In the end ,the deal was finished in time ,and I'm satisfied. Of course the price is also reasonable.
