RLE law had changes of staff throughout our house purchase. Each time these changes were not communicated to us as the client and there was little handover / continuation of the process.
RLE repeatedly failed to communicate to us. They didnt answer the phone or respond by email. When they did respond they would often only answer one of the 5 questions asked. We ended up having to call them twice a day to make any sort of progress as staff repeatedly claimed they would complete activities, only to then not honour those commitment's. Staff were rude to me, the estate agents and other solicitors.
RLE were unable to resolve basic problems such as a freehold indemnity. This issue was first raised 15th April and took until 29th of July to resolve.
They repeatedly made mistake with paperwork, forgot to issue paperwork and repeatedly had to ask me what document had / had not been sent and signed.
I complained to RLE but to date have had no response to that complaint from RLE management. I find it baffling that there has been no effort from RLE to acknowledge these issues or put them right by offering any kind of reduction in fees or as a minimum an apology!
