Greg was a pleasure to deal with. Very efficient, professional and with a people centered, human approach. Giving information in an accessible way, for someone who did not understand the legal protocol side of things. AWFUL Stay Away!! 5 months and could not complete sale of flat in London. Louis Kirk went on leave without notifying anyone and his manager and the complaints dept never replied. Caused loss of sale total waste of time Pathetic!
A house move is potentially the most stressful time of our lives. Trying to beat the labour deadline for an increase in stamp duty just triples that. But Helen Kent and her team, phenomenal. I had a hiccup at the start where I missed some paperwork requests, but that was no problem at all. You chased me, and everyone involved and ensured we were in time for the deadline, and kept me in the loop right up until I had the keys in my hand. Thanks so much!

Have used BG Solicitors for years so when I purchased my new home in 2023 it was my ‘go to solicitors’ however, this time the service was poor, I had to do all the chasing, poor communication from the team involved. No face to face meetings, all correspondence conducted by email. Maybe this is normal post Covid but I was certainly not impressed with the professionalism or the customer service I am basing my review on my previous experiences with BG, felt like an inconvenience every time I called.
Very efficient and friendly service. Handled selling a relatives property for us, keeping us updated and abreast of all developments.
Excellent Solicitors, made things much easier. Would definitely recommend for house buying and Wills .

I quickly became comfortable with Michaela's approach to what was for me a very significant transaction. Nice place, if a little pricey. But most solicitors are these days, though these seem to be the cheapest around. Stairs are a little difficult for people with mobility issues, but they do have a disabled entrance,which is a nice touch.
We appreciate your honest thoughts on our pricing and are glad we could offer competitive rates for your matter. We also take note of your comments regarding accessibility; while our historic stairs can pose a challenge, we are pleased that our dedicated step-free entrance made your visit more comfortable. We used BG solicitors for will writing (Miriam) & conveyancing (Bradley & James) received great advice and outstanding service from everyone. I've moved house several times and never had a solicitor so responsive. Any questions were answered same day, there was a portal to keep up to date with progress. When things got sticky enquiries were made promptly. With our will writing everything is fully explained and any questions answered. I am fully confident we now have the right protections for our family. Fees are competitive, there are 5 office across the Hunber region Hessle, Barton, Scunthorpe, Grimsby and Louth so easy to pop in for appointnents or to drop off/collect. I would highly recommend
