Used them to sell my house! I can not fault the communication and care given by the team. The app to upload documents is easy to use and updates are posted live. Lucy was very quick to respond to emails and worked hard to complete my sale quickly.

****DO NOT USE**** Instructed Tracey Lynam in August for a simple cash house sale and purchase, who gave personal assurances that we could complete by the end of October. I never received any updates and Tracey could not be contacted. Finally, I had to see her in person and found out Tracey had not conducted the basic checks despite three months having passed. She also did not disclose she was retiring and promptly left the firm a week later.

I deeply regret trusting LCF residential to deal with our house purchase. An unbelievably bad service in my opinion. Terrible communication, unresponsive, slow, vague, verging on complete incompetence. We were buying a vacant property with no mortgage and no chain but it still took almost 3 months, largely because of delays caused by “Blue Team” They took several days to respond to a simple email – that is when I got any response at all – and every time I called to speak to the person dealing with our case, she was apparently either “on another line” “in training all afternoon” “in an emergency meeting” or “not in the office today” As the buyers, we were without doubt the least informed of everybody in the whole process, due to their incompetence. On the one occasion that I was actually put through to the solicitor in charge of our case on the phone she came across to me as extremely rude and arrogant. She offered no advice or suggestions on the best way to proceed and gave sharp, abrupt replies to my queries. Furthermore, rather than answering my queries and putting my mind at rest, said “I’ll put it on an email for you”. But true to form, that email didn’t arrive. Obviously, buying a house is a huge, lifetime investment and an extremely stressful and difficult time for anyone. As conveyancing is their profession, I expected an efficient, speedy and reliable service where I was kept informed of progress. This was certainly not the case. Their manner was more like I was a nuisance rather than a paying customer and their lack of communication, arrogance and unprofessional attitude made the whole process even more stressful. Please learn from my huge mistake and avoid this company at all costs.

I can’t even begin to explain how disgracefully poor my experience was with LCF. Even when trying to make a valid complaint through their very own complaints procedure as shown on their website, Mr Stell (one of the Managing Directors) will do anything to dodge you. I’ve been waiting over a whole month for Mr Stell to properly let me know that he is looking into my case… Poor communication, lack of ownership of mistakes and pure incompetence are just a few things I can say about this company. I’m now having to go through an alternative complaint body to even get listened to. I wish I could leave a 4 or 5 star review like most people about this company but I really think they dropped the ball with my case.

Where to start with the poor attitude and incompetence of Team Blue at LCF Residential. I have never dealt with a company that have been so awful and rude for asking simple questions for first time buyers. Not only did they make you feel like a burden for querying things, they got many things wrong on the completion statement that was only picked up by myself as the client. They need to re-train their staff to understand their job and also work on their customer skills. When they did eventually answer the phone, they would never apologise for their mistakes, raise their voice to speak over you & belittle you as a person. Once I said I would not use their service again, their employee replied with "good take your service elsewhere" which I think just says it all. Please read similar reviews with the same comments. I really hope they take this on board.
