Over the past 45 years the firm has grown from a one man band to what is now a large regional law firm employing over 230 staff across 17 offices throughout Yorkshire. We offer the broadest suite of legal services in the region and are very much embedded in the communities in which we have offices. Massive thanks to James and Georgie!

We were recommended to work with Ison Harrison by our mortgage advisor and it was a great recommendation. When you hear about conveyance solicitor firms, our first thoughts were to expect delays and long periods of silence. James Turnbull and Georgie Strandmann provided us with the total opposite experience. They were extremely attentive and James was amazing at keeping us up to date throughout the process. When we requested a completion date, James helped ensure everything was done for it! Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, even the very novice questions we had 😅 we’re both very appreciative of the service they provided and would recommend both James and Georgie and Ison Harrison. Big ups ✌

My initial contact was made with Katie O'Sullivan-Price, first impressions last and what a great impression Katie made, she excelled in customer service from receiving the initial quotation to regular updates.
We all know buying a property can be stressful.
However we sailed through with no issues.

I used Ison Harrison to sell my house and they were great! Katie on reception was especially helpful all the way through, always keeping me updated and answering my questions quickly. I have recently had a terrible experience with the Harrogate branch of Ison Harrison.
They made an error with paper work which could have easily been rectified, had they owned up and said 'sorry'. But they refused to apologise, and behaved in a way which I found arrogant and unprofessional.
I will never use them again.

Would give 0 stars if I could. The worst customer experience we have ever encountered. Ignored phone calls and emails, poor advice, and a deep lack of professionalism throughout. Thankfully our case was eventually passed onto a solicitor in the Bingley branch who actually cared about the service she provided and we have now been given a partial refund. The solicitor and his assistant we were unfortunate enough to be allocated to originally at the Harrogate branch were an absolute disgrace.

We offer the broadest suite of legal services in the region and are very much embedded in the communities in which we have offices. Whilst some of the growth has been facilitated through acquiring other smaller firms, most has been organic as a consequence of clients recommending us or returning for additional services. As you can see the firm has enjoyed substantial growth over the past decade. We have always taken the view that standing still as a business is not an option for us. We have seen many law firms either go out of business or reduce in size over the years and we were determined not to struggle in the same way. We have therefore constantly looked to improve. We have looked for opportunities to grow our profile, the number of our offices, and the breadth of services that we offer. We have looked for ways to improve our internal processes, employee engagement and how we deal and communicate with clients. All partners and managers recognise the importance of communication and set the tone within the firm employing honest, open and prompt communication with clients and colleagues alike.
