I have just used Ison Harrison for the purchase of a property and cannot sing my solicitor, Julie Smith's, praises enough. From the start she understood that this was a matter I needed dealing with quite quickly and from the first point of contact, made sure that we had done everything needed to make sure it moved quickly.
It started off as a very stressful situation but after speaking with her over the phone for the first time, I felt confident that my matter would be handled just fine.
The thing I appreciated the most about this experience was that I never felt like a burden. She was more than happy to answer any questions or queries I had, was happy to call me and explain things, was efficient in handling the matter and, it never felt as though I was a pain which is an experience I've had with quite a few other solicitors now.
As assured from the beginning, my matter was completed on time and smoothly.
All documents were completed online which was a godsend for speeding things along and just the convenience of not having several trips to the post office!
Overall I have had a brilliant experience with Ison Harrison from the start and I've found that every person I have spoken to in regards to this matter has been friendly, made things easy to understand and just happy to help.

Smooth process and very professional, we had no issues or delays and the process was as quick as it could possibly be. Thanks for helping us purchase our first home.
only lost one star as we never spoke to anyone face to face and only had communication on the phone unless we called all via email. At times this made such a big process for us personally feel difficult to navigate via email and made it more nerve racking.

During the most horrendous time of my daughters & my life, Gareth has supported us for 4 years acting on our behalf with the utmost professionalism & knowledge but with empathy & understanding. Having just moved home and used Ison Harrison in Otley for our conveyancing, I can confidently recommend them as solicitors in this field. In particular, Lorna Stringwell, who dealt with both our sale and purchase, was always friendly, polite and professional and bent over backwards to ensure we were into our new home within an ambitious time-frame. Lorna responded to all my questions in a timely fashion and her reassuring presence really took the stress out of the whole process. I would definitely use Ison Harrison of Otley again in future and would not hesitate in recommending them to friends and family. Whilst some of the growth has been facilitated through acquiring other smaller firms, most has been organic as a consequence of clients recommending us or returning for additional services. As you can see the firm has enjoyed substantial growth over the past decade. We have always taken the view that standing still as a business is not an option for us. We have seen many law firms either go out of business or reduce in size over the years and we were determined not to struggle in the same way. We have therefore constantly looked to improve. We have looked for opportunities to grow our profile, the number of our offices, and the breadth of services that we offer. We have looked for ways to improve our internal processes, employee engagement and how we deal and communicate with clients. All partners and managers recognise the importance of communication and set the tone within the firm employing honest, open and prompt communication with clients and colleagues alike.
