I was hugely shocked and perplexed receiving an email from the police for a voluntary interview regarding a complaint of SA. I was travelling abroad at the time. Although the officer offered me help getting a free solicitor, I didn’t accept the offer as I didn’t have clue who and what exactly the complaint would be. I then googled for the solicitors specialised in the SA cases. I got Tim Baker of Jericho Solicitors’ name. I emailed him. He replied me back immediately with the reassurance I needed badly. We set up for a telephone call then met face to face at a later date. He listened to my version of the facts and compared with the discloser. He maintained that the matter is not serious at all and the complainant had nothing to prove the allegation. Tim accompanied me to the police station and presented a written statement followed by a no comment interview. In dealing with Tim I always had the impression that I was in good hands. I express my heartfelt gratitude to Tim for his all out support in a matter which I never imagined I would be in.
