Due to a very very messy separation I was recommended to contact Wendy Hopkins by a friend who had known others to use the firm during their own separation issues. I was originally using a different solicitor firm to begin my proceedings but following the recommendation I arranged a meeting with WH, who then assigned Bethan Tapper to the initial meeting, Beth listened to everything of my situation, background and concerns surrounding my children and relevant things - after a short deliberation I decided to change from my then current family solicitors and use Wendy Hopkins from that point forward.
Bethan has continued to work with my case from the very beginning and took the time to understand my position, concerns and expectations of her service from the outset. She was professional and direct, although managing to deliver her service in a way that was totally pressure free and Beth always treated me as an individual, not just another client to earn the firm money. There were even moments where I could have become overwhelmed with anxiety but Beth, quite simply, would say "Give me five minutes" and a solution was created to overcome each hurdle each and every time, putting me at complete ease.
The family proceedings for the Residence of my two children have now concluded in a very multi-layered and complex case over the past 12 months, but thanks to Bethan of Wendy Hopkins Family Law and James Lewis of 9 Park Place Chambers (alongside other team members of each firm), who have continued to work tirelessly to achieve the end results - I am still using WH for representation during the final stages of separation involving my property, but I could not be happier to have made the decision to move family law firms at the beginning of my proceedings and will continue to use this firm for any further matters required.
