Some good and some bad
First of all - gaining probate is just the first step. There are many steps after which require legal council. To be fair, the solicitor managed to get probate in a very timely matter, and within price, however wasn't interested in providing guidance on the next steps. I was actually told to speak with other solicitors. To make matters even more frustrating I had to chase for the return of documents I supplied relating to the case. My lasting impression is that clients are very much "just another number" and the firm has seen an easy way to make money from supplying probate as opposed to advising and supporting clients throughout their journey.

We do offer a full estate administration service for clients who do not wish to deal with the post grant administration themselves or where further guidance is needed once the Grant of Probate is received.
