Professional, Efficient, Courteous

I used Justin from Pendrigh Makin to update our Wills and also for some other legal advice.

Extremely professional, incredibly efficient and courteous throughout. Justin always took the time to answer questions and explain some of the legal terms that I needed help with understanding.

I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Justin and Pendrigh Makin solicitors, an excellent firm.

Professional and Supportive

Having undergone a lengthy legal battle, I had unending support and utter determination from my solicitor to reach an agreement with the other party involved. The firm is professional and approachable, and everything was explained clearly and in layman's terms so that I could understand my choices and make the best decisions for the situation I found myself in.

I have dealt with this firm for wills, probate, property purchases and legal separation and have found them to be extremely knowledgeable in all areas.

I can highly recommend Pendrigh Makin.

About this branch

Description

Pendrigh Makin solicitors is a well established firm whose roots go back more than 50 years. The firm was founded in 1959 by John Pendrigh. In 1960 he went into partnership with Doreen Gotheridge and the firm was named Pendrigh & Pendrigh. In the 1960s and 1970s the firm had its main office in Croydon where it had a broad range of clients from both the local area and beyond. In 1984 the office moved to Reigate and our Reigate office is located in the same premises. In 1994, Naomi Pendrigh decided to leave legal life in London with a view to developing Pendrigh & Pendrigh. The move has been very successful and Naomi has established a broad network of contacts throughout the South East and acts for a number of international clients. At the same time in early 1995 Justin Makin also left London and worked with his father Geoffrey Makin who had been practising as a solicitor since the 1930’s and was a founder member of a leading Hampshire law firm together with being an early advocate of organic farming as he was at the same time a Market Gardener in Hampshire. Justin worked with his father and then worked in Hampshire before joining Farmar & Shirreff, an established practice in Sevenoaks, where he became a Partner and established a local and broader client base. In the late 1990s Naomi and Justin established a connection with one another and found common approach towards providing legal advice and services. In 2005 Justin and Naomi decided to “join forces” to form Pendrigh Makin solicitors with a specific emphasis on meeting the legal needs of private individual people. Pendrigh Makin have established a network of contacts throughout Surrey, Kent and Sussex. We also continue to act for clients throughout the country and the world.
